HENDERSON, Ky. -- Joyeux anniversaire, M. Audubon!

Members of the Friends of Audubon are invited to a birthday party in celebration of John James Audubon’s 233rd birthday from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26. To mark the special occasion, the Friends will host nationally renowned Audubon scholar and author, Christoph Irmscher, for a talk titled, “The Cosmopolitan Audubon.”
Christoph will speak about what an international figure Audubon really was and the many different aspects of Audubon’s extraordinary career. Exquisite French- and American-themed hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and cake will be served prior to Christoph’s presentation — because, you know, what’s a party without food!
RSVP to Jennifer Spence, Museum Curator, jennifer.spence@ky.gov, or (270) 826-2247, by Friday, April 20. Please note that this is a free event for Friends of Audubon members only.
