Boy Scout Troop 301 Christmas tree fundraiser has begun

HENDERSON, Ky. -- Boy Scout Troop 301 has opened it annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser. This year the Christmas tree lot is located at the corner of First and Green streets in downtown Henderson.

Hours of operation are: 5-7 p.m. Monday-Friday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturdays; and noon-6 p.m. on Sundays. The lot will remain open until all the trees are sold or until Christmas.

Trees and their prices are:

Frasier and Concolor firs: 6-8 feet, $65; 8-10 feet, $95.

Douglas firs: 6-8 feet, $55; 8-10 feet, $85.

Scotch pines and white pines: 6-8 feet, $40.

The Christmas Tree Fundraiser benefits such activities are camping, canoeing, field trips, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, snow skiing, merit badge workshop, National Youth Leadership Training, service projects, summer camp and other events.
