HENDERSON, Ky. -- They're billing it as "lunch with a side of live music."
Downtown Henderson Partnership is launching its "First Fridays" series this Friday, May 5, at The Depot/Audubon Mill Park.
From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be live music (this month by Lindsey Williams), food vendors and more.
Bring your lunch, pick up a to-go box from a downtown restaurant or support local food vendors at the event.
First Fridays is sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust, the DHP and Henderson Area Arts Alliance.
Other "First Friday" events are set for June 2, July 7 and Aug. 4.
Other DHP events coming up:
Downtown Wind Down (formerly Farm & Art Market), every Thursday in June and July (except Handy Week) from 4-8 p.m. in Audubon Mill Park. The event will offer live music, local artisans, food vendors, fun activities for the kids and an opportunity to shop locally from fresh produce with local farmers.
Artisan Market, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 13, Audubon Mill Park, with more than 30 local artisans and makers, live music by Heath and Molly and food vendors.
