HENDERSON, Ky. -- Audubon Beekeepers Association will host its annual "Bee School" on Saturday, March 4, at the Henderson County Extension Expo Center.
Keynote speaker will be Debbie Seib, treasurer of the Beekeepers of Indiana.
Vendors at the event will be Dadant & Sons of Frankfort, Bee Barn of Paducah and Kelley Bees of Clarkson.
Doors at the Expo Center will open at 8 a.m. for registration, coffee and doughnuts.
Pre-registration is $15 per person on or before Feb. 28, which includes lunch. Admission for children 12 and younger is $5.
Registration at the door is $20. Space is limited, so pre-registration is recommended.
Door prizes will be awarded, and there will be a raffle on a complete hive including bees.
The Expo Center is located at 3341 Zion Road (behind the main Extension office.)
Audubon Beekeepers Association meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m., also at the Expo Center. Information about the organization is available at 270-339-7245.
